Established in 2016 by a couple of friends with a goal of bringing the eye wear manufacturing back to the New York area, LOWER CASE delivers authentic design and excellent quality in incredibly cool and wearable styles.

The Eye Spot carries a large collection of these American made frames and we can attest, these are superbly made glasses. Each pair of frames goes through a 30-step process that takes 2 weeks to complete.

The carefully curated sheets of Japanese and Italian cotton fiber-based acetate make the LOWER CASE frames unique, while the expertly applied finish creates a finely textured yet very durable pair of glasses. Warm earthy tones, top notch finished frames, German made hardware, American design and craftsmanship - from their small, custom workshop located in the Brooklyn Army Terminal, to The Eye Spot in Libertyville.
