"Dr. Pikus is very thorough and went more in depth than any doctor we have seen before. She and the staff are simply great. They treat you like family from the minute we arrived and it hasn't stopped. We have a special needs daughter that can be a bit overbearing in our eyes. They treated her like the princess she believes she is and she loved every minute of it. The frames selection ranges from basic to exotic and they don't push the pricier ones. But they have some fantastic glasses you will not find at the chain stores. You can get basic glasses or make a statement and choose glasses you will never see on another person. "Exciting doctor-owned suburban store with that down town look. Excellent optomertrist that seems to really care about her patients. Dr. Svetlana Pikus came across as very warm and caring. I received very comprehensive exam and some good natured grief from her for overwearing my contacts. Great staff, great eye wear selection. The frame prices are clearly marked on the lenses so you get rough idea right away what you are about to spend. The higher end frames are pricey, at the Spex / Lens Crafters levels and even a bit higher. But quality and uniqueness are apparent right away. When you are getting a pair in that price range in this optical, those are not mass produced for sure. If you don't want to spend too much, there are several beautifully crafted and quite less expensive choices. Very unique also. Her staff also gives you a short intro on every brand if you care to listen. Not pushy at all. I looked around for a while before making up my mind."

"The entire staff at The Eye Spot are awesome! Dr. Pikus has been our eye doctor since before The Eye Spot opened. We happily followed her from a former practice. The new office is gorgeous and the selection of frames is out of this world, but don't let that fool you. The folks at the office are super down to earth and totally not pretentious. I was worried when I first walked into the new office because we are very much not a fancy family, but once we had a chance to talk to the doctor and her staff, we were put right at ease. Dr. Pikus was wonderful working with our 8 and 6 year old kids, who can be quite a handful. When the 8 year old broke her glasses after only 8 days, the doctor and her staff did an awesome job helping us get them fixed so that we wouldn't have to get new frames. "I am thrilled to find this optical, unreal selection of frames and amazing service. Doctor Pikus is fabulous, very thorough and to the point. The guys working there are quite funny - an added bonus while I was browsing through the coolest frames they just kept showing.
